What are Dragon Messages?
As many of you may know, my involvement with Dragons has evolved considerably in recent years. They have become a fundamental part of any ceremony I conduct and with many clients I see. Recently, they have requested that I document their messages rather than simply communicating them verbally. I was honored to be the Water Dragon for the Dragon Dance of Creation in TN in 2025, I wanted to share the messages these Dragons brought to the Dance.
Each Dragon I interact with possesses a unique medicine piece, crafted by Autumn Austin of Journey There Wands. She plays an essential role in this process, as the medicine pieces she creates enhance the connection and communication between these Dragons and Humanity. In each entry provided below, you will find the Dragon Messages received by me and how I interpreted them for the dance. Hopefully these messages can offer guidance to you as well as they did for me.
The Dragons and their Messages
For this ceremony, each dragon recommended a crystal for you to work with if you plan on working with them. The crystals are also detailed below.
Hayami - Dragon of the Deep Waters and Queen of the Sea (4D)
Crystal: Moonstone
The Teaching of the Pearl
Hayami’s lesson highlights the formation of a pearl as a metaphor for personal growth. She explains that a pearl is created when an irritant infiltrates an oyster. Rather than expelling this irritant, the oyster chooses to encase it in layers of nacre for self-protection. While this natural process yields a beautiful result, the irritant continues to cause discomfort. If not properly managed, the pearl can grow excessively large and ultimately take the oyster’s life. Thus, what remains is a stunning pearl, which, despite its beauty, is not worth the cost of the pearl’s life.
Unlike oysters, humans possess the ability to address and eliminate irritants from their lives, instead of covering them with nacre.
The lesson is clear: no matter how beautifully one may cover up harmful influences, it does not negate the fact that they are inflicting pain and can threaten the essence of who you are.

Naveen - Dragon of the Air, Storms and Authenticity (5D)
Naveen, an impressive 5D Dragon, gracefully descends to welcome you at their pebble beach. This remarkable creature showcases a striking blue and white appearance, embellished with shimmering blue gems and scales that glisten brightly under the sunlight. From this scenic location, you embark on a flight with Naveen, ascending to one of their islands situated deep within the ocean, an island constructed entirely of pebbles.
Crystal: Clear Quartz
The Teaching of the Pebbles
Under Naveen’s influence, the terrain is consistently adorned with pebbles. Upon inquiring about this phenomenon, you are informed that what we consider solid is fundamentally an illusory perception. Everything is composed of smaller elements, and by concentrating solely on the apparent solidity, we overlook our ability to adapt our circumstances effectively. Pebbles can be introduced or removed, yet they continue to offer a reliable foundation. As Naveen articulates this insight, their voice resonates in a harmonious, rhythmic manner.
While larger boulders tend to become submerged in water, remaining steadfast and unyielding, pebbles can be carried by the current, creating new paths and illustrating flexibility and adaptability. Naveen is here to convey the teachings of the pebbles, should you choose to embrace this knowledge.
Elijah - Dragon of Rivers, Dragon of Muddy Waters (4D)
Elijah, recognized as the Dragon of Rivers, often identifies himself as the Dragon of Muddy Waters, reflecting his unique and friendly personality. Our meetings typically occur at a river where he navigates the water with remarkable agility, resembling an alligator with only his eyes visible above the surface. His elongated and sleek body, resembling the hue of mud, is complemented by small wings similar to those of a Wyvern. In the river’s currents, he exhibits outstanding speed, and his lessons are enriched with river-related metaphors.

Power Requires Purpose
Elijah illustrates the journey of rivers that begin deep beneath mountains, where water gathers in subterranean reservoirs until it emerges as a spring. While they may be visible on the surface, their true origins lie deep within the earth.
Rivers possess the capability to sculpt mountains, with muddier waters indicating a greater potential for force. A river endowed with direction and purpose has the ability to shape its surroundings, cultivating thriving oases along its banks. In contrast, a powerful river lacking direction or purpose can lead to devastation, as illustrated by flooding. When properly guided, rivers contribute to life and the cycles of life, enriching the environment beyond their consumption.
Nova - Dragon of Time (6D)
Emerging from a serene lake situated amidst imposing mountains, Nova, the 6D Dragon, ascends gracefully. As they rise, their expansive wings unfold, enabling them to hover above the water and sunbathe to dry their impressive physique. The sunlight reflects elegantly off their white scales, which are partially adorned with moss, indicative of their prolonged slumber at the lake’s depths.

Time is an Illusion
The human mind often perceives time as a linear progression; however, this perception is merely an illusion. Time does not flow in a straight line; rather, it is expansive and omnipresent – time is a place that we cannot exit from. Understanding this concept is crucial for transcending the linear mindset, as the constructs of past and future are merely abstract notions—what truly exists is the present moment. Until this realization is achieved, one’s perception of reality may be overshadowed by dominating external voices, drowning out the inner dialogue. I encourage an exploration of the depths of introspection; join me at the bottom of the lake, where the world fades, light diminishes, and the only voice you can hear is your own.
In this calm environment, the most significant companion becomes your own inner voice. Here you can experience the place that is time. This setting provides a unique opportunity to uncover your authentic self, liberated from the influences of external factors. The depths of the lake offer a warm and comforting refuge, serving as a sanctuary free from the relentless distractions of the outside world. Here, time transcends conventional definitions.
Within this peaceful retreat, one can attain rest, renewal, and clarity. In this haven, you will cultivate the ability to genuinely connect with your inner voice, which often remains concealed beneath the noise of external circumstances.

Lyandra - Mother of Dragons, Dragon of Life and Creation (10D)
Lyandra is the most powerful dragon I have ever worked with. Her energy is extremely difficult to define. She is a magnificent 10D Dragon who emerged into our Universe during the Big Bang. She calls herself the Mother of All Dragons who have been born in our universe. Residing on a massive, dying planet near the Universe’s center, she is a colossal being composed of a spectrum of colors. Each time you gaze at her, she shimmers, revealing yet another hue. Her voice is gentle, and while her lips remain still, you can hear her voice in your mind.
Crystal: White Labradorite (Rainbow Moonstone)
Life and Universal Purpose
Lyandra’s message underscores the intrinsic value of life. “Life itself is the ultimate purpose of existence.” Through our varied experiences, we generate energy that fosters further life. The primary objective of our Universe is to accumulate sufficient energy to facilitate the creation of new universes and forms of life, just like ours was formed from another.
Our Universe is currently in a developmental stage, akin to “pre-puberty.” As our young Universe matures, significant forces are awakening. Lyandra is urging all to assist our universe in generating more life and experiences, allowing us to bring forth new worlds in due course. We must cultivate life, and she is calling upon her Dragon Children to guide us and instruct us in this endeavor.
She envisions two fundamental roles for us in this existence – creators of life or guardians of life. This notion transcends gender; she contends that such a distinction is a narrow perspective held by humanity. Ultimately, it returns to purpose – are you engaged in creating something novel, or are you safeguarding something significant that benefits all? She was direct in stating, “if you are not willing to participate in either role, then I cannot invest my time in you.”
