DESCRIPTION:Raven will be attending the Dragon Dance of Creation this year in TN at The Center for Peace (address below). This event is a remarkable opportunity to connect with Dragon Energy\, promote healing\, and foster Growth. \n  \nDragon Dance of Creation\nThe 6th Dragon Dance held at the Center for Peace in Seymour\, TN\, on 18-20 September will feature aspects of the “Golden Corn Dragon.” This year’s Dragon Dance will incorporate aspects of the Corn Harvest Dances held in the early 2000’s. Dancing to the Spirit of the sacred Corn plant feels appropriate\, as the word “kun\,” meaning “corn” in the Tewa language\, signifies the number 6. The color representing the Corn Dragon is yellow. \nBy embracing the Elemental Forces and honoring Corn\, Dancers will work with the Medicine Wheel. This is a Mystical and Transformative Dance that can help you identify\, connect with\, and expand your Creative Soul by interacting with the Elements of Fire\, Water\, Earth\, Air\, as well as the Void. For this 6th Dragon Dance\, we will study the significance of the Number 6\, through the sacredness of Corn and how\, during this time in place\, it relates to our lives. \nJoseph Rael says\, “God is Breath\, Matter and Movement and so when we Dance\, we can see Beyond the Beyond.” \nThroughout the dance\, Dragons tend to show up to support you as they hover metaphorically over each Element\, encouraging you and protecting you to: \n\nDance through old beliefs that hold you captive in the present.\nCreate space within your Heart and Head for new ideas and inspiration.\nGet in touch with your Creative Soul.\nCreate Medicine tools.\nTo see “Beyond the Beyond”To accept the Abundance coming into your Life\n\nThis Dance is about unleashing your Creativity and expressing your true self in a safe\, nurturing space. There will be items one can interact with at each Directional Element to create temporary or permanent tools\, symbols\, or creations for your altar\, desk\, or home. The effort that we use for dancing is energy that Mother Earth and Father Sky use to live in our physical bodies – so keep on dancing.” \nPlease come Dance\, Create\, and Expand your inner awareness with us at this year’s Golden Corn Dragon Dance of Creation! \nWe have space in the Arbor for 14 Dancers on a first-come\, first-served basis. Dancers will sleep in the Arbor and fast from food and water for the duration of the ceremony. \nThe Dance will begin on Friday afternoon. Please arrive by noon. We will dance\, Sweat\, and become “Makers” together in Creative Unity for the weekend. We will end early Sunday afternoon. \nThe Donation for Dancers is \n\nIndividuals – $365.00 (a dollar a day for a year of Creativity).\nDancer Elders (65 years and older) – $200.00.\nCouples – $600.\n\n**Please note\, no work credit from the Center at Peace can be applied for this Dance.** \nIf you are called to Crew instead of Dancing\, the $50 donation includes your food and camping fee. DESCRIPTION:What is a Dragon Circle?\nA Dragon Circle is a ceremony that  Raven has been called to host so that the dragons she works with can do their work in the community. Raven has been working with Dragons for almost 9 years now. They choose the path they want to work in\, and Raven facilitates this work for them. \nRaven works with over 50 different Dragons\, who call to her when they feel they have something to say or healing to provide. We connect with the essence of each Dragon through stunning medicine pieces brought to life by Autumn Austin at Journey There Wands. \nAll Dragons have their quirks\, personalities\, and mannerisms\, and when you attend these Dragon circles\, you will get to know each Dragon. Raven will not know which dragons are going to be working directly with participants until a few days before the ceremony. Even though Raven is facilitating the circle\, make no mistake\, you will be working directly with each Dragon through a Shamanic Journey. \nThis month’s Circle: Fall Release and Renewal\nThe tools we embrace for this journey will be shaped by the unique dragons who choose to share their wisdom with us.
